Lost Horse Mine

Help! How do I navigate this site?!?

The Lost Horse Mine was one of the most profitable mines in Joshua Tree, with its owners extracting out over a million dollars in gold (which would now be worth like 10x that amount).

Above, a very dangerous vertical mine shaft leading to the tunnels of the mine. And below, Nick oiling up some of the old machinery, in an attempt to get it working and try to mine out some gold!

Above, part of the old head frame which is still intact, and below, where dug out rocks were hauled to and crushed for processing.
