Normally when we visit Joshua Tree National Park, it's been fairly dry and warm. Well this time around it was green (for a desert), and flowers were in full bloom. It was quite different from the barren landscapes we were used to from previous trips. We also saw more animals out and about than normal which was also a plus.

Left- a little lizard tries to attack Chloe's veggie sandwich. Middle- a desert rabbit hiding in the brush. Right- a few caterpillars laying around during one of our hikes.

Beautiful desert flowers in full bloom!

We visit our old nemesis, the Cholla Cactus. Brian was just moments away from touching these deadly hazardous plants, before another young girl began screaming after coming in contact with them. Sometimes, it's best you learn from the mistakes other make.
