California Wildfires & Strikes

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA IS BURNING DOWN!!!

What a wonderful few months its been here in California, especially the Los Angeles area. Fires are also burning in San Diego, San Bernardino, and Ventura Counties. A state of emergency (yay) has been declared! We have no functioning public transportation system, no supermarkets open within a 10 mile radius that don't have striking morons outside threatening you if you cross the picket line, no Sheriff's officers on patrol (although that one is a positive), a terminator for a governor, and now, we are burning down cause of idiot arsonists!

Yea, a while back I recommended that California just secede from the union and become its own sovereign nation, but now someone has an even better idea it seems:

So, I think people dying from Hurricanes (such as Isabel some time back) is pretty sad. I mean, you get days advance warning... Why are you so stupid to stay. DYING FROM A FIRE IS EVEN WORSE. COME ON you losers... over 14 people have died so far. WHY!?!? You see flames, smoke, ash... YOU RUN. Get in your goddamn car and flee. What makes you so arrogant to think that YOUR house and life will be spared but that your neighbor, who had the brains to get the hell out 5 hours ago would not? I really don't feel sorry for any person who dies in a fire such as this (dying from a fire in a building while trapped is different). Except for elderly and children who don't know any better, and for any firefighter or other safety official whose job it is to stay. Otherwise, all your stupid civilians who see a fire, whether its 50 miles or 5 miles away, get out get out get out!

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't *want* anyone to die cause of fire, that's not what I said. I also feel very bad for the hundreds of people who have lost their homes, trailers, other property, whatever. I just think that if you get burned up, it's at least partly your own fault for not heeding the advice of the fire officials.

Well, below is a police sketch of the suspected arsonist who is responsible for at least one, and possibly more of the fires in Southern California. There has been a $50,000 reward, plus $10,000 from individuals for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this person. If you know who he is, CONTACT YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT ASAP. We need to get this son of a bitch and stone him to death or something. I really hope they convict him of multiple homicides, and then try his ass in the electric chair.

I live out in the westside, only miles from the ocean. and the air quality even out here, pretty far from the fires, sucks big time. Although no ash falling around me, its still bad. I can only imagine how much worse it must be near the fire lines.

Finally, I got a couple of emails from people telling me I'm an asshole for not caring about people dying. Let me reiterate- I don't want anyone to die, and I think it's sad. ESPECIALLY the one firefighter who was killed down in San Diego the other day. But when normal civilians are told to evacuate, and they don't, they are being really, really stupid.

At last count, over 700,000 acres burned, 1,200 homes lost, 18 people dead. I wish everyone who has been devastated by the fires all the best in the future in rebuilding their lives.

Lets just fucking shut California down with strikes everywhere!

I'M GOING ON STRIKE AS OF 10/15/03. I'm on strike against idiots and unions everywhere. We mush banish all idiots to Mexico or France, and pass legislation to ban unionization.

HEY, YOU WORK AT RALPH'S? WELL WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? If you are a goddamn cashier or bagger at some super market, and you are so pathetic that you made a CAREER of this, you are a MORON with no fucking ambition. I mean, Jesus Christ, we have grocery store baggers and cashiers on strike, complaining because they make over $17.00 bucks and hour and benefits and the supermarkets can no longer afford to pay them this. Places like Wal-Mart, CostCo, Smart & Final are kicking your ass because they don't have to pay for expensive, useless employees such as you. I REALLY hope all the supermarkets install self-pay machines so they can just fire the whole goddamn lot of you. You guys will go out of business if you can't produce lower prices, because customers want LOW PRICES. I don't care how its done. YOU ARE UNSKILLED LABOR. YOU CAN & SHOULD BE REPLACED. You do NOT do anything 'special' Who the hell (besides uneducated, single mothers) makes a CAREER out of being a grocery store cashier? I don't WANT you fuckers making more money, because all that is going to do is cost me more when I go shopping at the supermarket. If you don't like it, get another job! This is FREE ENTERPRISE, companies should have the right to do whatever they want! I'm going to start going to Ralph's and Albertson's everyday just to piss you fuckers off. I'm gonna go buy something everyday now that YOU aren't getting paid!

Next, we have all these L.A. County Sheriff's calling in sick and closing down courthouses and what not. I read that the average salary for one of you lazy bitches is $70,000. That's about $30,000 a year more than you are worth. All you assholes do is give stupid tickets for illegal front window tints or illegal front brush guards. Oh yea, and sometimes you show up for a car chase on the freeway or what not. So worthless. I hope you all get suspended or fired.

And the last strike of the day? The MTA, for the second time in three years. Just great. You dumb shits. You are fucking up traffic on our already always congested roads even more. YOU DRIVE A BIG BUS. Our state is almost bankrupt, and now you want 3% pay raises per year for the next 3 years? How about BEGGING TO KEEP YOUR JOB! Why do you think you deserve more money? Go become a truck driver, they make tons of dough.

Why do you people think you are ENTITLED to benefits and high wages? You aren't. You get paid what you are worth, which isn't much. If you want to make more money, how about you go back to school, get a real education, and then maybe you can make something of your life. You do not have a lifetime employment contract, if that's what you want, go live in Japan or something. We live in a free enterprise economy. Supply and demand applies here. If what you did was a unique, talent-requiring jobs, you would deserve more money, and would get paid accordingly. So that should tell you that you don't deserve shit.

I HATE UNIONS. UNIONS SHOULD BE DISBANDED AND MADE ILLEGAL. You know, back in the 1930's, when people were being abused and shit, unions made sense. But guess what? They have completely outlived their usefulness, and are now completely bullshit and do nothing but cause problems for business. I hope they ALL get fired & replaced.
